1886 by Arsenal
Brand Identity, Motion, Campaign, Packaging.

Completed in 2026 with Stereo Creative.

1886 is Arsenal's new in-house hospitality brand. The objective was to establish an identity that could bring together all hospitality offerings under one brand, ranging from general admission experiences to premium dining within Emirates Stadium. Rooted in the club’s heritage and North London culture, the brand was designed to flex seamlessly across every level of the hospitality offering.

The gingham pattern, which is central to the brand identity, draws inspiration from both football flags and scarves while also referencing food associations, reflecting North London's café and dining culture. The logo is derived from typographic features found in historic crests and handwritten signage. Custom serifs are combined with Arsenal's existing Northbank typeface, creating a distinctive and ownable logo for the identity.
